Motonobu Matsuo

Motonobu Matsuo has been Director-Gneral, Strategy Development and Management Bureau Secretary-General since July 2021.
He started his career in 1987 with the Ministry of Finance, Japan.
He became Budget Examiner for Local Government Finance, Budget Bureau in 2010,Director for Foreign Exchange Markets Division, International Bureau in 2012,Director, Planning Division, Planning and Coordination Bureau, JFSA. He became Deputy Director-General, Credit & Insurance system, JFSA in 2016 and became Secretary General, Certified Public Accountants and Auditing Oversight Board in 2017. In 2019, he served as Vice Commissioner for Evidence-based Policymaking, , Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission, Financial Services Agency, Japan.

Hajime Ikeda

Senior Managing Director, Head of Future Innovation Company
Nomura Holdings, Inc.

Joined Nomura Securities in 1990. After working for Retail Sales, Human Resources Dept. and Investment Banking, he served as an senior managing director in charge of Corporate Communications for the entire Nomura Group for about eight years. It is related to PR, Advertising, ESG, Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, etc. As the head of Future Innovation Company, which was established in April 2019, he plays a central role in Nomura's digital innovation.

Takeshi Chino is the CEO of Kraken Japan. Kraken is one of the leading digital/crypto asset exchanges in the world. He has spent 15 years in multiple leadership roles in Japanese financial industry with the focus on digitalization. Takeshi holds an MBA from the University of Oxford.

Kimio Mikazuki

He has been involved in a wide range of investment businesses after building up a base in corporate finance at Aozora Bank. He has also been involved in the management of IT companies after their acquisition, and has served as Representative Director of the IT subsidiary of Olympus Corporation, Director and COO of Bitpoint Japan, and has been Head of STO Business Development at SBI Securities since 2020. Current position since 2021. 2019-2020: Chairman of the ICO/STO Subcommittee of the Japan Virtual Currency Business Association (JCBA).

Takao Takei started his career with the Tokai Bank, Ltd. (currently MUFG Bank, Ltd. "MUFG") in 1990 and had been continuously employed by the MUFG for around 30 years since then. In 2022, he has been assigned to serve as the Executive Officer of Tokai Tokyo Securities Co., Ltd., responsible for the STO business promotion after he joined the Tokai Tokyo Financial Holdings, Inc. in 2021.


Hiroshi Matsubara

With more than 30-year industry experience in marketing financial information and electronic transaction products. Serves as Co-Chair of the Japan regional committee of FIX Trading Community since 2007 and has taken the industrial thought leadership role. Set up own business entity “Pine Grove Research” in 2021 focussed on new technologies in financial markets. Previously spent 15 years at Fidessa (now ION Group) by overseeing product marketing and communication activities. Originally worked for Reuters for 17 years holding various product marketing positions both in Japan and overseas (UK and US). Joined Reuters London as a graduate management trainee from Reuters Asia in 1987.
