Junya Umeno, Director, is head of TLS in Japan within BlackRock’s Trading & Liquidity Strategies Group. He is responsible for coordinating the trading, transition management and securities lending activities in Japan. 
Mr. Umeno’s service with the firm dates back to 2006, including his years with Barclays Global Investors (BGI), which merged with BlackRock in 2009. Prior to his current role, Mr. Umeno was the head of trading in Tokyo. Earlier, he spent several years as a senior trader at Franklin Templeton Investments.
Mr. Umeno earned a BA in Economics from Kobe University in 1996 and an MBA in Finance from Waseda University in 2006.

Mr. Takuro Komori

He joined the Ministry of Finance Japan in 1993. From 2009 to 2011, Takuo Komori served as Private Secretary to Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary at Japan’s Prime Minister’s office. From 2011 to 2014, He has held several positions in Ishikawa Prefecture, including Director-General of Planning and Development Department and Director-General of General Affairs Department. From 2014 to 2016, He served as Director of the office of International Affairs within Japan Financial Services Agency. From 2016 to 2017, he served as Deputy Commissioner for International Affairs, JFSA.

Mr. Norihiso Takahashi is President of GPIF since April 2016. Prior to his role at GPIF, he was Representative Director and President of JA Mitsui Leasing, Ltd. Previously from 1980 to 2015, he was Senior Managing Director at the Norinchukin Bank, where he held various positions in the areas of investment and management including General Manager of Credit & Alternative Investment Division, General Manager of Fixed Income Investment Division. Mr. Sadakazu Osaki

Mr. Osaki specializes in the regulation of capital markets. He has published several books and articles on Japanese regulation and its reforms mainly in Japanese. In addition to his job in Nomura and in the University of Tokyo, he holds a post of Visiting Professor at Waseda Business School. He also holds official positions as a member the Regulatory Reform Council and the FSA Financial System Council. His English publications includes “Insider Trading: Global Developments and Analysis” (CRC Press, 2009, co-author), “Selected Legal Issues of E-Commerce” (Kluwer Law International, 2002, co-author). He received LL.M. from University of London and University of Edinburgh (with Distinction), and LL.B. from University of Tokyo.

Mr. Jon Rout

Jon Rout was Digital Asset's first employee in Australia and played a key role as Head of Product Asia Pacific during the early phases of Digital Asset's engagement with the Australian Securities Exchange as well as the participants in the Australian equities market. He is now working to introduce Digital Asset's technology to major Market Infrastructures and Financial Institutions across Asia Pacific.

Before Digital Asset, Jon led the Commonwealth Bank of Australia's Blockchain Innovation team
identifying and prototyping high value use cases and business models for the implementation of distributed ledger technology across retail and institutional financial services.
