In the midst of a situation where credit concerns in the EU remain unresolved, the growth of emerging economies is also showing signs of slowing down. At the same time competition between global securities markets is intensifying, which is leading to moves towards the integration of stock exchanges as well as clearing and settlement institutions. Japan is no exception to these trends and various measures are being advanced to clear away barriers to securities and finance and their related products, in order to strengthen international competitiveness.
At the 14th Annual Japan International Banking & Securities System Forum 2013, we will be hearing from experts who are active on the front lines of the industry, who will provide explanations concerning the Japanese securities market, deregulation in the financial industry, financial system reform and the latest trends in electronic transactions, and investment strategies and the latest technologies that support these strategies.
