Kenichi Aso

Kenichi Aso started his career at Sumitomo Bank, now Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, in 2000. He was involved in planning and developing open systems until 2006, when he moved to The Japan Research Institute to focus on banking system development. In 2019, he became the Head of the Security Control Department, handling all cybersecurity matters. In 2020, he was also appointed to SMFG/SMBC to manage cybersecurity initiatives. He has held his current position since October 2021.

He studied IT as a student and has 8 years of experience in cyber security operations at JPCERT/CC since 2002. He was involved in setting up the cybersecurity team at MUFG Bank, and participated in the establishment of the Financials ISAC Japan in 2014 as a mutual aid initiative for cybersecurity in the financial industry. 2019, he founded Armoris. Also serves as a advisor to the Financial Services Agency and advisor to the Ibaraki Prefectural Police.

From 1995 to 2018, worked as the safety inspector of nuclear power station and engaged in design review of nuclear power station, inspection, and the accident investigation.
From 2013 to 2022, moved to the National Center of Incident Readiness and Strategy (NISC) of the Cabinet Secretariat of Japan where worked for threat hunting, and served as Counselor in charge of protecting critical infrastructure, especially been focusing on management, emergency response, standardization and certification.

Mr Mori was mainly engaged in risk management at a major banking group and covered a wide range of risks at its Tokyo and London branches. Since July 2019, he has been engaged in climate change, non-financial risk management and RAF advisory. He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and an LBS Masters in Finance. He is the author of "Business Management and Disclosure in the Climate Change Era" (Chuo Keizai Co., Ltd.).

While promoting sustainability management at Meiji Yasuda Life Group, Mr. Shinichi KISHI is involved in standards development as a member of the advisory council of the Sustainability Standards Board of Japan (SSBJ). He is well versed in international insurance regulations, with an experience of working for the Basel-based International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS). He is a frequent speaker at international conferences and contributor to professional journals.

Mr. Koizumi has over 25 years experience in financial industry, responsible for corporate and project financing globally and strategic planning covering global and EMEA businesses. Previously he was Head of Business Strategy and Promotion for EMEA, based in London, where he also covered developing sustainability related business. In 2023, he was appointed as General Manager of newly established Sustainability Risk management Office. He holds MBA from London Business School.
