Sanjay Vatsa

Mr. Vatsa is a currently First Vice President with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers responsible for global business strategies and solutions.  In addition he is an active member of the various industry initiatives / committees specifically related to T+1 and STP.  In addition as active member of industry committees, Sanjay has participated in designing industry-operating model that are evolutionary and will form the basis of future STP / T+1 model.  He is Chairman of the SIA International STP initiative and is co-Chair of the SIA standards and code of practice committee.  Mr. Vatsa has a successful track record and experience in acquisition analysis, outsourcing evaluation and implementation, process reengineering / redesign, industry bench marking, expense rationalization programs, internal controls.

Prior to joining Merrill, Sanjay was Managing Principal with Capco.  As an initial pioneer at Capco he worked on establishing Capco thought leadership in capital markets, in addition to working globally with organizations in setting strategies, and delivering STP initiatives.  He joined Capco from State Street where he was Vice president -  Special Projects, in addition to being a member of the Chairman�fs Advisory Council.  His work experience has evolved in 4 countries in 3 continents with primary areas of focus being manufacturing, auditing, commercial banking, capital markets and consulting.
