Leman is the Managing Director responsible for Global Equity Connectivity (Electronic Trading) at Salomon Smith Barney.  Additional responsibilities include the development of proprietary trading and customer sales systems in both domestic and international markets and participation on the Equity Systems Review Committee, which will oversee all technological application enhancements and equipment acquisition by the equity area.  Mr. Leman has worked at Salomon Smith Barney for 19 years in various positions within Internal Audit, Operations, and Equity Sales & Trading.  Mr. Leman is a founding member of the Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol committee and is also a member of Thomson�fs Electronic Settlement Group�fs (US) Advisory Committee.  In addition, Mr. Leman is Citigroup�fs representative on the Executive Committee of the Global Straight Through Processing Association (GSTPA).  Prior to joining Salomon Brothers, he worked at the New York Stock Exchange for 9 years in various Regulatory and Surveillance positions.  He holds a BS in accounting from St. Peter�fs College as well as an MBA in financial management from Fordham University.
